Your host, Chef Patron Robert Kisby, offers a warm welcome to this historic public meeting place. Having spent 35 years learning and delivering quality hospitality in many acclaimed establishments he felt it time to create his own “Culinary Home” and was delighted to take the helm here at Cabbage Hall, where you can now experience fully “The Kisby Effect”. That headline was given to an article where he last presented his acclaimed style of cuisine. Having led them to three Regional awards and a Best Newcomer nomination in the 2008 Northern Hospitality awards, he decided, “ It is time to do it for me now”.

There are no promises here at Cabbage Hall. However, there will always be a warm welcome, comfortable surroundings, friendly service, great wines and that essential quality style of Cuisine. Quality ingredients, most supplied by personal friends, who truly care that you get the best on your plate. I hope you bump into one of them on a visit.

Don’t just think of him as “Restaurant “ food. There are great “One” plate dishes and “sharing” food, platters themed around various combinations of ingredients. Not just platters, these are Kisby Platters, these are a unique style of food service.
